Brush Saucer
This batch of plates from this collection is intended as the perfect companion for an afternoon tea. At home, we cherish tea time with chai (spiced tea), often paired with homemade cookies, muffins, samosas, or other Indian savory treats. These plates can be mixed and matched with other ceramics or become part of a complete tea set. They also stack very nicely, making storage convenient.
Dimensions: Approximately 7" in diameter
Materials: Flameware clay with an interior white and red glaze.
Creation Method: Thrown and handmade texture decorated
Texture: The texture was created with Chinese Calligraphy brush.
Firing: Fired to 2345°F in oxidation
All ceramics I make are microwave and dishwasher safe, crafted from flameware clay, and fired to cone 10, approximately 2300°F.
